We went to AppleBee's for dinner to celebrate Eric's birthday. Brandon came too, and he loved the big apple on the sign outside. Thanks for having a birthday Eric so that we could have a nice dinner out together.

Next, we went to the Subzero Ice Cream shop. We each got a yummy cup of ice cream that they made right there on the spot. After that we went to hang out with Johnny and Lindsy at my parent's house. There was a crazy big spider that came out while we were playing Monopoly, but the picture I took of it was too blurry. So, the one of Eric "hiding" up on the couch with have to be good enough. :) This was about the 4th or 5th time we've gotten together with Johnny and Lindsy to play Monopoly. We just have so much fun when we play it together. It was a blast!

We went to Boondocks for Eric's work party. We had a great time miniature golfing and riding on the slick track. It's so nice to get away once in a while and hang out together. Lindsy and Johnny are amazing for being so willing to watch Brandon on such short notice. We even got free passes to come another day for three hours, because it started raining and they thought they might have to close some of the "rides". Eric's work treats us so well and he loves working for them. We look forward to the Christmas party this year. Last year we got tons of free stuff! :)

Eric has been trying to get me to go camping for some time now. We finally went this past weekend up A.F. canyon. When we got to Salamander Flats and it was full, we continued up until we got to the next place. It was perfect! We found a nice little spot away from other campers where we could set up our camp. (Unfortunately we could still hear campers nearby at night, talking and laughing around the fire, but we woke up early and made a bunch of noise (he he he). Johnny took this picture on the way up. How beautiful are God's creations!

So, we started out by setting up the tent. Then, the boys went to chop some firewood, while Lindsy and I took care of Brandon and got the fire pit ready to go. Once they got back, the boys got the fire going. What great guys! Our big, strong, mountain men.

Eric helped Brandon pick a bouquet of wild flowers for me. I was a happy wife and mother.

Johnny and Lindsy came with us. It definitely wouldn't have been as fun without them.

We had so much fun together. Brandon had the time of his life!!! I forgot to bring a sweater and I was freezing, so I put a pair of pants over my arms. It worked quite well. Brandon seemed to be okay after we wrapped a blanket around him, but next time we're definitely bringing sweaters.

So sweet! Brandon wants to be like his Daddy.

Last night, Mom (Teresa) took us out to see Wicked as a belated Christmas present! The show was amazing and we all had a great time!

I was a little bored in the car, I just couldn't wait to get to Salt Lake!

Capitol Theater is great! They even had a poster right out front.

Everyone else had to pose too! Who could miss out on a memorable moment like this?!

Mom and Elisa especially were excited!

The inside of the theater was beautiful,
they even had a big DRAGON over the stage!

The theater itself was BEAUTIFUL!

All in all, we had an amazing night!
It was sooo much fun and the performance was out of this world!
What a good Christmas present!

When Grandma and Grandpa Rose left to go back home to Idaho after a weekend of fun with us, Brandon smiled and laughed at the window waiting until they were out of sight before he waved bye-bye with both of his hands. I don't think he understood that they weren't coming back for quite a while. But, when Eric came home from work and called Grandma, Brandon stopped what he was doing, looked over at Daddy and waved at the phone. He seemed to know who Daddy was talking to, and wanted to wave bye-bye just one more time. How sweet he is, and how dearly he loves his Grandma and Grandpa Rose! :) Thanks for coming to visit guys and for making our weekend a memorable one.

When Brandon's diaper has been on for too long, it starts gathering, and ends up looking like a bikini diaper. :) Finally, Brandon is starting to walk more than crawl. One sock on and one sock off, I think it's past your bedtime Brandon.

Brandon Try's Out A New Look!

My son is the cutest little kid in the whole wide world!

Mommy had a "Build Your Business Day" on Saturday so Brandon got to hang out with Daddy all morning! They sat and watched cartoons for a while while Brandon ate some cereal and a cracker. Then he had some milk while he finished watching the show with Daddy. Then some boring "This Old House" Show came on and Brandon was tired anyway, so he went down for a nap. Soon enough it was lunch time! Brandon had SO MUCH FUN eating his spaghetti!

After Spaghetti, Brandon had a bath. He was very, very, messy! Once he was all clean.... he headed to his favorite spot to play, the kitchen! After playing in his drawer for a bit, he decided to move on to the Lazy Susan. Slowly spinning it, he discussed with himself what he should play with next. Once he decided on a frosting tube and chewed on it for a bit, he came to sit with Daddy to make this post!
